Fool’s Errand

There are many behaviors that, while seemingly normal and enjoyable, will only bring the worst out of you.

Human adaptation has allowed us to inhabit every single continent. That beautiful gift is now making us retards who are engaging in psychological warfare with our inner selves.

Things to avoid due to their physiological adaptations and effect on the human brain:

  1. High dopamine behaviors shift your baseline levels and thus lower everything associated with high dopamine: drive, enjoyment, happiness, ect
    1. Social media is actively being engineered to addict you. And you don’t stand a chance since they have an unlimited amount of data on you and other humans, and can feed it to AI to figure out how to keep you stuck on a screen.
    2. Porn.
    3. Caffeine +Nicotine. Never add as you will develop tolerance and have to keep increasing.
    4. News. Avoid all news.
    5. Sugar + engineered food.
    6. Novelty Seeking.
  2. How heal and regulate your brain.
    1. Single Tasking: Practice this as often as possible. complete focus and be present with whatever it is that you are doing.
    2. Minimalism. Same meals. Exercise plan. Routine= Kills novelty.
    3. Inhabit the inbetween: Make concious effort to be present at times where you normally use your phone or daydream, or anything else.
    4. Exercise.
